Renault Trafic II / Vivaro 06-10 2.0 DCI 150BHP Engine ... (Isabella Brewer)
When mine went in for some cosmentic work not so long ago at the local renault dealer, I asked him why there was so many problems with the DCI engine's going bang and was told it is down to the software within the ECU on. Pictures shown may not represent exact model specified. The early versions of this engine were pretty awful, common issues included: Turbo chargers failing (often wiping out the engine with it), Injector faults, Fuel pumps collapsing, Wiring issues, ECU failures.
Engines are available in different versions - they are different in specifications.
