Renault Clio II: No arranca / does not start (OBDII Error ... (Brandon Daniel) Sometimes a Renault Clio may not start because of problems with its crankshaft position sensor. I've got a problem with my Renault Clio which is has been getting steadily worse over the last few weeks, which is either to do with the immobiliser or Basically when I put the key in the ignition and try and start the engine, the immobiliser light in the middle of the dashboard flashes and the engine won't.
On vehicles that are equipped, this light comes on when the engine is started and, depending on the vehicle, when the ignition is switched off while the engine is in the standby phase STOP AND START FUNCTION then it goes out.
My Renault Clio wouldn't start and have just looked at this site. There is a clicking sound coming from the fuse box I think it is the starter relay. Also I can't really fault the service from Renault, although the tyres you get on.
